Primary School
Chinese
with
Dalong, Xiaolong, Mike and Candy
Marcus Reoch and Anne Martin
This is the third book in a series of three books which encourage children to enjoy
learning Chinese. There are ten chapters introducing new key topics and the language
and characters learnt in the first and second books are revised and reinforced. Once
again, each chapter contains a certificate, a Great Wall Challenge and stickers to further
reinforce the key learning points. There is also a CD of the sound recordings at the back
of the book.
Book 3 contains key sentence structures and a wide variety of games and puzzles to help
children to practise Chinese. Clear, large character writing grids help children with
character writing and there are games to make character learning fun. In addition,
characters from Books 1 & 2 are reintroduced and built on to form sentences.
Marcus and Anne have written the book using the objectives of the Primary Languages
Framework as a key reference tool. In addition, the vocabulary and sentence patterns
follow the specifications for the The Independent Schools Examinations Board (ISEB)
Certificate of Achievement.
The book also includes a free login to Primary School Chinese Online - a webportal full
of games and competitions based on what they have already learnt. Please go to
