In accordance with the Contract undertaken with the Swiss Confederation – State Secretariat for<br />
Economic Affairs – SECO (hereafter called the 'Contract' and 'SECO' respectively), signed on 13 July<br />
2011, of which the <strong>EITI</strong> <strong>Peru</strong> Multi-Sector Permanent Committee (hereafter called the '<strong>EITI</strong><br />
Committee') is the beneficiary, and taking in account the following:<br />
- that the date for the commencement of work was set for 5 August 2011<br />
- that it was agreed that Product No. 3, Final Report, would be presented forty (40) calendar<br />
days after validation by the <strong>EITI</strong> Committee of Product No. 2, Mid-term Progress Report, which<br />
took place on 2 November 2011<br />
- that it shall be necessary for Product 3 to be reviewed and endorsed by the Committee within a<br />
period of no more than ten (10) calendar days from the date of presentation,<br />
please find attached Product 3, Final Report (Third Report). This includes the following:<br />
- an Executive Summary<br />
- the specific methodologies applied<br />
- the final outcomes of the reconciliation involving the payments effected by the participating<br />
companies and the revenues received by the <strong>Peru</strong>vian State through public institutions and the<br />
respective distribution of such revenues<br />
- conclusions and recommendations.<br />
In addition, statistical information which the Working Committee requested to be included in this<br />
Product has been included. This information includes:<br />
- aggregated total of revenues received by the <strong>Peru</strong>vian Government from extractive sector<br />
companies that were not signed up to the Initiative during the period 2008 to 2010<br />
- totals represented by oil service contracts during the period 2008 to 2010<br />
- total voluntary mining contribution during the period 2007 to 2011.<br />
