However, in the case of extractive industry companies not signed up to this Initiative, the outcomes of the<br />

<strong>Second</strong> <strong>National</strong> Reconciliation <strong>Study</strong> reflect the following.<br />

(a) The aggregated total of the revenues received by the <strong>Peru</strong>vian Government from extractive industry<br />

companies which are not signed up to the Initiative, in the form of the following tax and non-tax<br />

related obligations, calculated on the basis of the total received by the collecting entities in the fiscal<br />

year, according to type of revenue in question:<br />

- income tax calculated by the tax payer on the basis of sworn declarations, issued annually<br />

during the period 2008 – 2010, by the mining and hydrocarbons subsectors<br />

- royalties corresponding to the period 2008 – 2010 (mining and hydrocarbons subsectors)<br />

- validity rights corresponding to the period 2008 – 2010 (for the mining subsector only).<br />

(b) The number of companies, by subsector, with a production value exceeding an average of:<br />

- 2% in terms of the total value of national mining production<br />

- 2% in terms of the total value of national liquid hydrocarbons production<br />

- 1% in terms of the total value of national production of natural gas.<br />

For the purposes of information accessibility, the data in question were facilitated by the relevant<br />

government body according to the type of payment in question.<br />

Given the above, the purpose of this Final Report is to present to the Committee the final outcomes of the<br />

<strong>Second</strong> <strong>Study</strong> of <strong>EITI</strong> <strong>Peru</strong> on 13 December 2011.<br />
