Child Behavior Scale (CBS) were predictive <strong>of</strong> children’s Justification Choice responses on the<br />

Children’s Bully/Victim Scale (CBVS).<br />

Question Five<br />

Do the teacher reports <strong>of</strong> children’s social behavior with peers as assessed by the Prosocial with<br />

Peers subscale and the Aggressive Behavior with Peers subscale <strong>of</strong> the Child Behavior Scale<br />

(CBS, Ladd & Pr<strong>of</strong>ilet, 1996) relate to the children’s CBVS Justification Choices that are coded<br />

as either Justice/Fair, Prosocial/Care, Aggressive/Retribution?<br />

A multinominal Logistic Regression tested the following null hypotheses: (1) <strong>The</strong>re is no<br />

relationship between the teacher reports on the Prosocial with Peers subscale <strong>of</strong> the CBS and<br />

children’s Justification Choices (Prosocial/Care vs. Aggressive/Retribution vs. Justice/Fair) and<br />

(2) <strong>The</strong>re is no relationship between the teacher reports on the Aggressive with Peers subscale <strong>of</strong><br />
