A Chi-Square (Ҳ 2 ) Test for Independence tested the following null hypothesis: <strong>The</strong>re is<br />

no dependency between children’s Intellectual Ability and children’s Justification Choices that<br />

are codes as either Prosocial/Care, Aggressive/Retribution, or Justice/Fair. <strong>The</strong> non-significant<br />

Chi-Square (Ҳ 2 ) (6, N=632) = 5.235, p = .514, indicates that there is no significant dependency<br />

between Intellectual Ability and Justification Choices. <strong>The</strong>refore, I conclude that the frequency<br />

<strong>of</strong> Justification Choices is not related to children’s Intellectual Ability. See Table 10 and Figure<br />

2.<br />
