● Each Plan gives an initial NW as well as the number of events to be<br />

picked and kept, and a proper description of the plan. The historical<br />

Plan confers the best values, and are always presented first and by<br />

default.<br />

● Certain War Plans are signaled to the opponent, because they are<br />

automatically detected by the opposing secret service.<br />

NB: Each nation has the Historical 1914 Warplan already selected by<br />

default when the window opens.<br />

Choice of Options<br />

To be chosen at the same time as the War Plans.<br />

Each power will choose up to 2 Option (his choice) from the list offered to<br />

him. The Options allow the modification of certain facts or the acquisition of<br />

certain advantages.<br />

● Each one has a cost in NW and events.<br />

● Some Options even give advantages to the opposing side (in NW or<br />

events).<br />

● By default, the “good morale” Option was the only one chosen by<br />

each power in 1914.<br />

Revelation of Plans and of Options<br />

The revelation of Warplans and Options is done via a Telegram window that<br />

pops up once their selection is complete for each side. There is, rarely, one<br />

specific situation: if the final NW is > 40, the concerned power converts the<br />

excess into events drawn.<br />

16.3 Events<br />

Once the Warplans have been selected, players will receive their initial<br />

events draw. Only a few of them will be kept by the player. Events are drawn
