From the Channel Omega contribution "Pioneers of the<br />

Depths" by Kaz Stealth. (2665) The following text was<br />

written by 2nd grade Professor Charlotte Gillmore, Machina<br />

Antarctica. The data in square brackets reflect a rough<br />

timeline of the history of Aqua as Channel Omega has<br />

created it.<br />

The People’s Republic of China, South-East Asia, India, Europe<br />

and the USA construct the first long-term underwater<br />

habitats. The stations are all modularly built (ISS and MIR 2<br />

standards), thus they can be expanded at any time. The<br />

Chinese reach the deepest point with 6,000 meters at the<br />

slope of the Mariana Trench.<br />

In the independent states of the former Soviet Union in the<br />

Balkans as well as in numerous other trouble spots all<br />

over the world, the first rounds of combat begin.<br />

Beginning of a mass exodus from Australia due to<br />

reduction of the ozone layer.<br />
