In <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> higher <strong>education</strong> Bangkok <strong>of</strong>fice organized more than 14 activities that also<br />
<strong>in</strong>clude eight conferences. These <strong>in</strong>itiatives were designed to help <strong>the</strong> Asia-Pacific <strong>countries</strong> <strong>in</strong><br />
policy reforms, capacity development <strong>and</strong> shar<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> experiences <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> higher <strong>education</strong>.<br />
These <strong>in</strong>itiatives <strong>of</strong> capacity development covered different aspect <strong>education</strong>. Some <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m are:<br />
policy reform, <strong>education</strong> for all, quality development <strong>and</strong> assurance, cross border <strong>education</strong>,<br />
gender, f<strong>in</strong>ance, susta<strong>in</strong>able development, human capital development <strong>and</strong> higher <strong>education</strong>.<br />
