Majority of the world countries has ratified many of these international conventions and in some
case these conventions provide the basis for national law and policies in education. The signatory
nations have recognized the importance of education and its status as universal human right.
Now it is the collective responsibility of all stakeholders, participating countries and
organizations, to work for the full implementation, protection and guarantee of the basic right to
education from basic to higher education in terms of making education available, accessible,
acceptable and adaptable.
