He was not a Virginian, nor a descendant of Peter, nor was he in any way connected witl
any American Montague. On a list of ships and vessels of the royal navy of England, th<
name of the "Fowey" is found, and is entered as a fifth-rate vessel, with 190 men and 40 guns
