Elisha, Maroh 8, 1777, now living.<br />

Benjamin <strong>of</strong> this family married for his first wife, Feb. 16,<br />

1786, Abigail Matthews, and had Elsey Oct. 12, 1786, and Sophia<br />

May 3, 1791. Both <strong>of</strong> whom married the late Capt. Nathan Hallett.<br />

For his second wife he married, June 19, 1832, Dorcas Hal-<br />

lett.<br />

Yarmouth.<br />

married Reuben Rider Dec. 1, 1785, and lived in<br />

Isaac married Rebecca Matthews, resided in <strong>Barnstable</strong>, and<br />

had a family. In his old age he lived with his daughter Ruth<br />

Sears.<br />

Elizabeth, who married 1st, Prince Crowell, and 2d, Isaac<br />

Gorham, is now living. Though in the ninty-sixth year <strong>of</strong> her age,<br />

she keeps house, does her own work, runs her own errands, and is as<br />

well as most persons at seventy. A day or two since, while returning<br />

with her milk, she toppled down— jumping up quickly, she ex-<br />

claimed : "I have not spilled one drop <strong>of</strong> it."<br />

Anna married Barnabas Marchant <strong>of</strong> <strong>Barnstable</strong>, and removed<br />

to Falmouth.<br />

Deborah married Capt. Ezra Crowell, and resided in Barnsta-<br />

ble.<br />

John married Lydia Thacher, and resided in <strong>Barnstable</strong>. In<br />

his old age he and his wife removed to Chatham.<br />

Rosanna married Nov. 26, 1799, Zenas Howes, who died in<br />

1853.<br />

Samuel married Lydia Ewer <strong>of</strong> <strong>Barnstable</strong>. He owned his<br />

grandfather Timothy's house, which he sold. In the latter part <strong>of</strong><br />

his life he was a resident <strong>of</strong> <strong>Barnstable</strong>.<br />

Levina married, 1st, Trustrum Nye, <strong>of</strong> Falmouth. 2d, William<br />

Cobb <strong>of</strong> Nantucket.<br />

Elisha married, 1st, Dorcas Small <strong>of</strong> Lubec, 16th Feb. 1809.<br />

She died Jan. 27, 1848, and he married 2d, Hannah W. Davis <strong>of</strong><br />

Lubec. He is a ship carpenter, and a part <strong>of</strong> his life has resided at<br />

Lubec. He has recently removed to that vicinity, where he has a<br />

farm, on which there is a lead mine, which has been wrought.<br />

(22.) Andrew Hallett, son <strong>of</strong> John, born in Yarmouth in<br />

1684, built a house <strong>of</strong> the same description with his father's on the<br />

land opposite the <strong>Barnstable</strong> Bank building. He married July 23,<br />

1713, Mehitabel, daughter <strong>of</strong> John Annable <strong>of</strong> West <strong>Barnstable</strong>.<br />

Children horn in Yarmouth.
