10. John Hall, 3d, married April 30, 1694, Margaret,<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> John Miller <strong>of</strong> Yarmouth. He died March 21,<br />

1734-5, in the 70th year <strong>of</strong> his age. This gives the year <strong>of</strong> his<br />

birth 1666, showing that he was younger than Joseph. His -wife<br />

died Jan. 13, 1723-4, in the 56th year <strong>of</strong> her age. His children<br />

born in Yarmouth were : 1, Mehetable, 17th March, 1694-5, married<br />

Shubael Tavlor Sept. 6, 1716, and died young; 2, Sarah,<br />

18th March, 1696-7, died March 28,1732; 3, Margaret, 13th<br />

Sept. 1699 ; twins 7th March, 1701-2, both died young ; 4, Pris-<br />

cilla, 13th May, 1704; 5, Bethia, 24th July, 1706, died Oct. 6,<br />

1744; 6, John, 24th Aug. 1708, died March 1, 1745; 7, Isaac,<br />

23d Aug. 1712, died Oct. 2, 1735.<br />

11. Dea. Joseph Hall grandson <strong>of</strong> John, and was a man <strong>of</strong><br />

note in his day. He married Feb. 12, 1689-90, Hannah, daugh-<br />

ter <strong>of</strong> John Miller. She died Aug. 23, 1,710,,and he married 2d,,<br />

Widow Mary, relict <strong>of</strong> John Morton, and a daughter <strong>of</strong> Joseph,<br />

Faunce <strong>of</strong> Plymouth, born June 2, 1681. She died in Yarmouth,<br />

May 31, 1761, in the 80th year <strong>of</strong> her age. Dea. Joseph diedi<br />

Jan. 29, 1736-7, in the 73d year <strong>of</strong> his age. His children born<br />

in Yarmouth were: 1, Hannah, 20th Feb. 1690-1; 2, Priscilla,<br />

28th March, 1693, married Sept. 1719, Benjamin Crocker; 3,<br />

Margery, 24th Feb. 1694-5 ; 4, Joseph, 6th Aug. 1697, married<br />

and had a family <strong>of</strong> 12, several <strong>of</strong> whom were distinguished ; 5,<br />

Daniel, 18th July 1699, married Lydia Gray <strong>of</strong> Harwich May 18,<br />

1721, the first couple published in Yarmouth under the then new<br />

law ; he afterwards married two other wives, and was a deacon<br />

and man <strong>of</strong> note. His youngest son, Samuel, removed to Ash-<br />

field, 1777. Dea. Daniel had 15 children recorded, and 4 not recorded,<br />

two <strong>of</strong> whom were named David and Elizabeth ; 6, Jo-<br />

siah, 12th Aug. 1701, married Rebecca Howes Oct. 15, 1730; 7,<br />

David, 6th Aug. 1704, Harvard College 1724, ordained at Sutton,<br />

Mass., 1729, a friend <strong>of</strong> that distinguished divine, Dr. Jonathan<br />

Edwards. He married, had twelve children, and died May 8,<br />

1789, aged 86, and in the sixtieth year <strong>of</strong> his ministry. 8, Mary,<br />

30th March, 1712, married Elkanah Howes, 1734; 9, Peter, 19th<br />

May, 1715, married Abigail Sears Dee. 21, 1738; 10, John, 3d<br />

Jan. 1716-17 ;<br />

11, Barshua, 5th July, 1719.<br />

Joseph Hall, son <strong>of</strong> Dea. Joseph <strong>of</strong> Yarmouth, married Rebecca.<br />

He died 1771-2, aged 74, and his widow died March 10,
