IV. John, born 2d Nov. 1672. He resided with his grandmother<br />

Hallet, at Yarmouth.<br />

V. Hezekiah, born 25th Sept. 1675.<br />

Timothy, son <strong>of</strong> Job, married Temperance Swift <strong>of</strong><br />

Sandwich, and had Job, Benjamin, Timothy, Joanna and<br />

Mehitable. His will is dated in 1729, and proved in 1744.<br />

His son Timothy married Elizabeth Bourne, and had sons<br />

Benjamin and Shearjashub, H. C, 1764. Benjamin, son <strong>of</strong><br />

Benjamin, married Bodfish, and had Benjamin,<br />

Timothy, Sally, Martha, Temperance, Elizabeth and Hannah.<br />

Shearjashub married Doaiie, and had John,<br />

Shearjashub, Elisha, Abigail, Nancy and Elizabeth.<br />

Eleazer, son <strong>of</strong> Job, married Hatch, and had<br />

Isaac, Job and Mercy. Job, son <strong>of</strong> Eleazer, married<br />

Swift, and had Thomas, Thankful, Maria, Deborah and<br />

Lydia.<br />

Thomas, son <strong>of</strong> Job, married Bourne, and had<br />

Alvan, Job, John, Mary, Deborah, Lydia, Hannah and<br />

Abigail<br />

.fohn, son <strong>of</strong> Job, married and had a daughter Amia,<br />

who married a Sturtevant.<br />

Hezekiah, youngest son <strong>of</strong> Job, married Eliza Trowbridge,<br />

and had a son Ebenezer, who married Annah<br />

Bumpal, 1746, and had Ebenezer, .John, Benjamin, Mehitable<br />

and Mary. Ebenezer, Jr., married three wives, and had<br />

four sons, John, Josiah, Ebenezer and Leonard C. Benjamin,<br />

son <strong>of</strong> Ebenezer, Senior, married Hannah Perry, and<br />

had Alexander, Ebenezer, Elisha, Sylvanus, Abigail and<br />

Bathsheba.<br />

The Sylvanus last named, is the late Sylvanus Bourne,<br />

Esq., <strong>of</strong> Wareham, widely known as the late Superintendent<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Cape Cod Eailroad.*<br />

Elisha Bourne, son <strong>of</strong> Richard, born in Sandwich in<br />

1641, resided at Manomet, near the present location <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Monument Depot, on the Cape Cod Railroad. He was constable<br />

<strong>of</strong> Sandwich in 1683, and a deputy trom that town to<br />

the last General Court held at Plymouth in 1691. His will<br />

* I have a genealogy <strong>of</strong> the Bournes prepared by Sylvanus Bourne<br />

but it gives no dates, and does not give the Christian name <strong>of</strong> the wife.<br />

It is <strong>of</strong> little service. The portions <strong>of</strong> this genealogy where dates and<br />

the Christian names <strong>of</strong> the wives are omitted, is copied from that genealogy,<br />

and I cannot vouch for its accuracy.
