Martha Cogswell. She was born Nov. 11, 1768, <strong>in</strong> Milford, Conn., and married.<br />

Nov. 13, 17S8, David Holley. He was born April 24, 1768, <strong>in</strong> Stamford, Conn.<br />

<strong>The</strong>y had one child. .Mr. Mayell died, and Mrs. Mayell married '^William Anens.<br />

<strong>The</strong>y resided <strong>in</strong> Brooklyn, X. Y.<br />

Mary Cogswell. She was born Oct. 6, 1795, <strong>in</strong> Rhode Island. She married<br />

Major JoJiii Peer.<br />

Marv Cogswell. She married, <strong>in</strong> 1785 (or 1755), Benjam<strong>in</strong> Dane.<br />

Marv CofisWELL, Mrs. She was the widow of John Cogswell, and resided,<br />

<strong>in</strong> 1SS3, <strong>in</strong> New York City.<br />

vived her husband and died at tlie age of eighty-five years, <strong>in</strong> Albany, N. "»'.<br />

MiLTd.N- B. Co(;swell. He was a son of Benjam<strong>in</strong> and Philena (Wright) Cogs-<br />

well. He was born March 20, 1823, <strong>in</strong> Western, Oneida Co., N. Y. He married,<br />

1850, /a«c L. Mahogany, daughter of John L. and Cordelia (Russell) Mahogany.<br />

Tliey resided <strong>in</strong> Sunderland, Mass. <strong>The</strong>ir children were : Ella<br />

<strong>America</strong>. She died <strong>in</strong> .1854, leav<strong>in</strong>g three children : Belle, Harriet, and IfV/A Three<br />

children had died <strong>in</strong> England: William, Benjam<strong>in</strong>, and Mary.<br />
