Cogswell, was born Sept. 29, 1834, in Steuben, N. Y. He married,
Jan. 26, 1859, Elicit Mills Halleck, daughter of Joseph and Catharine
(Wager) Halleck. She was born Oct. 31, 1836, in Western, N. Y.
They resided in Western\'ille, Western, N. Y.
