Albert^ Cogswell, {yajins Albert^, Jonathan', William^, yoiia-
tluiir\ William'^, Johii^, U'illiatn-, John^), son of James Albert^ [1266]
and Mary Jane (Shortwell) Cogswell, was born April 9, 1844, in Boston,
Mass. He married, April 22, 1864, ^Jtilia A. Holmes, daughter of
U'iJliam C. and Nancy R. Holmes. She was born 1845, in Boston,
Mass., where they resided. Mrs. Cogswell died Nov. 25, 1865. Mr.
Cogswell married, Jan. 3, 1867, -Mary Kendall Coburn, daughter of
Elihu Colley and Susan Harding (Whiting) Coburn. She was born
Sept. 12, 1844, in Hopkinton, Mass. They resided in Boston, Mass.,
and in Brooklyn, N. Y. Mr. Cogswell died Feb. 10, 1881.

1S76 until his death, in \cw York Citv. Mi. Cogswell's early death was a loss to the business
circle, of which he was a valued member. He was genial in disposition, agreeable in manner,
and honorable in all relations.

Bigelow. He was born Nov. 5, 1849, in Phillipston, Mass. They
resided in Athol, Mass.
