John-, John^), son of John" [933] and Ruth Ann (Eaton) Cogswell,
was born Jan. i", 1805, in Halifax, N S. He married. 1830, Lucilla
S. Perkins, a daughter of Eli and Sarah (De Wolfe) Perkins. She was
born Nov. 7, 181 I, in Horton, N. S. They resided in Cornwallis, N. S.
Mr. Cogswell died Sept. 4, 1879.
