Polly (Down<strong>in</strong>g) Cogswell, was born Jan. [5, 1815, <strong>in</strong> Brooklyn, Conn.<br />

She married, Dec. 13, 1834, Charles P. Litclifield, son of John Litch-<br />

field. He was born July 19, 1810, <strong>in</strong> Brooklyn, Conn., where they<br />

resided, but removed to Kill<strong>in</strong>gly, Conn. Mrs. Litchfield died Dec.<br />

16, 1S76. Mr. Litchfield died Dec. 5, 1883.<br />
