Amos' Cogswfll, (Ames'', BcJijaniin", jfos/ndi^, S(im>icl'-\ John"-,
yo/tii^), son of Amos'' [5231 and Rebecca (Chamberlain) Cogswell, was
born Aug. 22, 17S9, in Coventry, Conn. He married, Nov. 7, 18 13,
Sarah Hartshorn. She was born Dec. 26, 1791, in Mansfield, Conn.,
where they resided. Mr. Cogswell died Feb 12, 1852. Mrs. Sarah
Cogswell died Jan. 25, 1875.

Cogswell, was born March 21, 1795, in South Coventry, Conn.
He married, 18 17, 'Polly Dinuniock. They lived in Tolland, Conn., and
afterwards removed in 1S28 to Orwell, N. Y. Mrs. Cogswell died, and
Mr. Cogswell married, Aug. 16, 1830, '-Lucy Montague. She was born
May 5, 1S02. They resided in Orwell, N. Y. Mrs. Lucy Cogswell
died Feb. 22, 1864. Mr. Cogswell married, April 30, 18C5, ^Mrs. Han-
nah (Carpenter) Greenfield, \\'\A
