(Wilder) Drury. She was born May 3, 1S58, <strong>in</strong> Gardner, Mass. <strong>The</strong>y<br />

resided at Riverside, Bradford, Mass.<br />

DoANE Cogswell graduated <strong>in</strong> 1874 from Dartmouth College, and was two<br />

years <strong>in</strong> the Harvard Medical Scliool. Mr. Cogswell did not enier upon the<br />

practice of medic<strong>in</strong>e, but turned his attention to agriculture. He owned and<br />

managed one of the best farms <strong>in</strong> Essex County, beautifully located, overlook-<br />

<strong>in</strong>g ihe waters of the Merrimac. His estate received the name of " Riverside."<br />
