cord, Mass. <strong>The</strong>y resided <strong>in</strong> Peterboro', N. H ,<br />

and <strong>in</strong> l^uffalo, N. Y.,<br />

where .Mr. Cogswell died, Sept. i, 1881, and Mrs. Cogswell died, April<br />

Hi-.NRV Francis Cocswell was a soldier <strong>in</strong> the War of 1S12. He removed<br />

to Peterhoro', N. H., <strong>in</strong> 1816, and was married two years later. He was a<br />

manufacturer of woollen goods ; rel<strong>in</strong>quished bus<strong>in</strong>ess, and <strong>in</strong> 1847 removed<br />

to Buffalo, N. v., where he died <strong>in</strong> 188 1, at the age of eighty-five years.
