Francis^ [42] and Elizabeth Cogswell, was bapt. Feb. 4, 1734, <strong>in</strong><br />

Ipswich, Mass. He married, Feb. 14, 1771, Anstice Mann<strong>in</strong>g, daugh-<br />

ter of Dr Joseph and Elizabeth (Boardman) Mann<strong>in</strong>g. She was born,<br />

1741-', <strong>in</strong> Cliebacco Parish. <strong>The</strong>y resided <strong>in</strong> Ipswich, Mass. Mr. Cogs-<br />

well died (Jet. 22, 1793. Mrs. Cogswell died Nov. 1, 1816.<br />

and died at the house of her brother. Round Hill, Northampton, Mass.<br />

Dr. Joseph Maiiiiiiif;, father of Mrs. Cogswell, was a prom<strong>in</strong>ent physician. He was the<br />

e.\ecutor of .Mr. CogsweU's will.<br />

born <strong>in</strong> 1744. <strong>The</strong>y lived <strong>in</strong> Ipswich, Mass. Mr Cogswell died July<br />

21, 1 79 1. Mrs. Cogswell died <strong>in</strong> 1827.
