Regulating prices, that a letter [be] sent by our Assembly to the other New Engl<strong>and</strong><br />

States, Remonstrating against their Delaying to make provision for Regulating<br />

prices, accompanied by two Gen" sent from our Assembly to Providence <strong>and</strong> Boston,<br />

Returning without Success, our<br />

to Enforce the Matter Contain'd in the Letter : who<br />

Gen'' Assembly Directed an Address to Congress, Requesting them to take up the<br />

Matter, <strong>and</strong> advise to Some Salutary Measures to prevent the Threatening Mischief<br />

<strong>of</strong> Sinking the Credit <strong>of</strong> the paper Currency ;<br />

pointing out in Some Measure the<br />

Dangerous Consequences to the army, <strong>and</strong> great advantage Sharpers <strong>and</strong> Disaificted<br />

Persons might take to oppress the People <strong>and</strong> Embarras the Common Cause :<br />
