The eldest <strong>of</strong> these children (104) is our valued correspondent <strong>of</strong><br />

Boston. He was graduated at the Newton Theological Seminary <strong>of</strong><br />

Massachusetts in 1876, <strong>and</strong> at Harvard University in 1880. On the 8*''<br />

<strong>of</strong> June [884 he was admitted to Deacon's orders in the Prot. Episc.<br />

Church, by the Bishop <strong>of</strong> Indiana, having been previously in charge <strong>of</strong><br />

the church <strong>of</strong> the Holy Innocents in Indianapolis. He was made Priest,<br />

April 22, 1885, by Assistant Bishop Henry C. Potter <strong>of</strong> New York, to<br />

which diocese he belongs.<br />

" Of Nathan's (24) family none have been more prominent than his<br />

<strong>and</strong> Dr. James Ratchford De Wolf, for many<br />

son Judge Elisha De Wolf ;<br />
