(rreenwich, Dec. 15, 1776. She was l)orn June 22, 1754, and died<br />

in Steplientown, N. Y., March 20, 1798. He had four other<br />

wives after the death of his first wife but no children by either<br />

of them. His second wife was widow Mary l^rowii Green,<br />

whom he married Sept. 2(), 1798. She was born May 7, 1752,<br />

and died Jan. 19, 180(5. He married his third ^vife, widow Sarah<br />

Potter, May 2(5, 180f). She was born May 24, 1750, and died<br />

Dec. 25, 1831. Married his fourth wife, widow Mnrgaret Lamtier,<br />

Aug. 12, 1832. She was born June 14, 17(i(i, and died Aug.<br />

19, lS3t). Married his iifth wife, widow Bridget Williams, Dec.<br />

14, 183(), She was born May, 25, 1780, and died Feb. 1848. He<br />

was one of the founders of the Baptist church in Steplientown,<br />

where he first settled when a young man. For a number of<br />

years<br />

before his death, he was both l)lind and deaf. He died<br />

Sept. 1, 1845, at the age of 92 years. His children, all l)y his<br />
