(rreenwich, Dec. 15, 1776. She was l)orn June 22, 1754, and died
in Steplientown, N. Y., March 20, 1798. He had four other
wives after the death of his first wife but no children by either
of them. His second wife was widow Mary l^rowii Green,
whom he married Sept. 2(), 1798. She was born May 7, 1752,
and died Jan. 19, 180(5. He married his third ^vife, widow Sarah
Potter, May 2(5, 180f). She was born May 24, 1750, and died
Dec. 25, 1831. Married his fourth wife, widow Mnrgaret Lamtier,
Aug. 12, 1832. She was born June 14, 17(i(i, and died Aug.
19, lS3t). Married his iifth wife, widow Bridget Williams, Dec.
14, 183(), She was born May, 25, 1780, and died Feb. 1848. He
was one of the founders of the Baptist church in Steplientown,
where he first settled when a young man. For a number of
years
before his death, he was both l)lind and deaf. He died
Sept. 1, 1845, at the age of 92 years. His children, all l)y his
