V. Rev. Esek Cakk ('-^74) liorn in Little Compton, K. I.,
March 25, 1733, married widow Lydia Simmons, ((irinnell).
He settled in North Easton, Mass., ^vhere he lived for a number
of years, and where he died Feb. 19, 1794. He was a cooper
by trade as his father and grand father had been before him.
He worked at his trade during the w^eek and preached in his
shop as a church on Sundays. He was the founder of the
Baptist church in North Easton. His wife died Ma>' 17, 1806.
