1889. vShe was born in Natchez. Miss., Dec. 4, 1835. He is one
of the leading lawyers of Seattle, Wash., and is adjutant general
of the state with rank of colonel.
X. Byron Thrope Carr (6200) l^orn in Galesburg, Ills.,
March 16, 1861, married Amy Childs, in Lakeport, Cal., Aug.
28, 1882. She was born in Sacramento, Cal., Oct. 6, 1861, and
died in St. Helena, Cal., Jan. 17, 18b4. He resides in Seattle,

X. Sam Houston Carr (6204) born iu Memphis, Tenn., May
13, 1865. He is engaged in journalism in the cit}^ of Mexico.
He inherited a talent for art and a line poetic vein from his
mother, and some of his poems have been extensivel}' copied
by the press. He is also an able linguist and speaks the Spanish
language with all the fluency of a native.
