died in Derby, N. Y., Dec. 9, 1890. He next married Sarah Jane
Buffnm. of West Falls, N. Y., Aug. 31, 1893. She was born
March 5, 18()5. Fie enlisted in Buffalo, Aug. 27, 1862, and served
two 3'ears. Has been general secretary of the Erie Co. Fire
Relief association since 1872. He has been a teacher by profession

N. Y., Feb. 22, 1840, married Mary Isle, Jan. 29, 1866. She
was born June 22, 1842, and died April 28, 1879. He next mar-
ried Olive Louisa Keys, Aug. 17, 188(>. He enlisted in Buffalo,
Aug. 12, 1862, was wounded at Port Hudson, May 21, 1863, and
was discharged Feb. 18(54 on account of said wound. They reside
in Grand Rapids, Mich. Their children are,

She was born in A^dmer, Ontario, in 1845, and died Aug. 26,
1873. He next married Eliza Esther Wood, in Blue Creek township,
Ind., Aug. 4, 1875. She \vas born March 11, 1852. He enlisted
in Buffalo, N. Y., Aug. 12, 1862, and served till the close
of the war. He was wounded in the right knee before Port
Hudson, May 21, 1863. He was ordained to the ministry of
