Atlanta, and marched with Sherman to the sea. In the great
fire in Chicago, he lost his house and all of his effects. He has
been book keeper and financial man in several large A\^holesale
houses in Chicago, and is now engaged in the grain and
commission business under the firm name of H. H. Carr & Co.
He married Marj- J«ii^f Hobbs, in Chicago, March 1, 1867. She
