IV. Caleb Carr (59) born in Jamestown, R. I., March 23,
1679, married Joanna Slocum, in Jamestown In^ her father,
Kbenezer Slocum, warden, April 30, 1701. She ^vas born in
Jamestown, Jan. 2, 1680, and died Dec. 30, 1708. His second
while's name was Marj^, ^vhom he married the llth da}" of ,
1712. He settled in West Greenwich, R. I., in 1731, and bought
282V2 acres of land bounded on one side by what was afterward
called Carr pond, of John Williams and his wife Rose Williams,
Aug. 3, 1733. He deeded 100 acres of land to each of his sons
Joseph and William. In 1743 he deeded land to his son Charles,
and in his will of 1750, gave his property to his five sons. His

IV. Robert Carr (61) born in Ja:nestow:n, R. I., June 7, 1683,
married Hannah Hale, in Swansea, Mass., Oct. 21, 1708, where
he settled and lived until his death which occurred Oct. 12,
1722. His wife was born May 8, 1690, and died in Warren, R. I.,
May
31, 1771. Their children were,
