VIII. Dabney Carr (2935) born in Louisa Co., Va. He ^vas
collector for a long time of the port of Baltimore, Md., and afteawards
U. S. minister to Constantiriople.
Villi. Nellie Carr (2936) married William B. Buchanan.
They moved from Baltimore, Md., to Wheeling, W. Yn., and
after her husband's death, went to Davenport. Iowa. Their

VIII. JoHM Addison Cark (2;)3S) was a lieutenant in the l\S.
service, but died on his Varni in Albemarle Co., \'a., al)out
1738.
\^I1I, Dabney OvERTt)N Cakr (2939) was a cadet in the military
academ}' at West Point, and from there went to South
America with a nephew of vSimon Boliver. He was mortally
in Boliver's
wounded while serving as captain of army.
