IH. Robert Carr (20) born in Newport, R. I., married Eliza-<br />

beth Ivawton, daughter of George and Elizabeth Lawton. He<br />

was a merchant in Newport, and died in 1704. His wall bears<br />

the date of July 8. 1703, and was proved Feb. 5, 1704, which<br />

made his wife executrix and his brother-in-law Robert Lawton<br />

overseer. His wife to have the management of his estate to
