Mr. Round is a lawyer and notary public, and has been U. S.
coniinissioner, attorney for the commonwealth, postmaster,
and representative in the legislature of Virginia. He graduated
at the Wesleyan University, of Middletown, Ct., and serv-
ed four years during the rebellion in the 1st Ct. artiller}-, and
afterwards as a lieutenant in the signal corps. They reside in
Manassas, Va. Their children are,

VIII. Julia Saunders (2501) born in Unadilla, N. Y., July 15,
1842, married William H. Parker, of Masonville, N. Y. He was
born Sept, 21, 1840. They reside in Otego, N. Y., where he is
a leading merchant. No children.
VIII. WiLLiAiM Round Caswell (2503) born in Brooklyn,
Pa., Ma}^ 14, 1851, married Clara Fors^^th, of Charles and Julia,
Nov. 15, 1874. She was born Jan. 20, 1855. They reside in
Brooklyn. Their children are,
