1805, married David Everson. The}' reside in Manlivis, and
have a family of children.
VIII. RoXANA Carr (2323) born in (>al\va3% N. Y., Feb. 22.
1789, married Stephen Cooper, in Ticonderoga, N. Y., Jul}' 4,
1805, and settled in Shorehani, Vt. He was born in East Hampton,
N. Y., March 27, 1779, and was drowned while crossing
Lake Champlain on the ice in tlie spring of 1827. His son Edgar
who was with him, saved himself by clinging to some
frozen substance on the edge of the break in the ice. She
died in Shorehani about 1837. Their children are,

\^IIL Westil Carr (2324) born in Galway, N. Y.. June

married Mary Jones, in Ticonderoga, N. Y., Nov. 6, 1814, where
they lived the remainder of their lives. He was in the battle
of Plattsburgh, in 1814. He died Nov. 25, 1846. She died May
2, 1889, at the remakable age of 95 j^ears. During the last years
of her life she received a pension for her husband's military-
services in the war of 1812. Their childi-en are,
