VIII. Capt. Lixsley Herbert Carr (2281) born in tbe town
of Clay, N. Y., Feb. 16, 1822, married Caroline Aldrich, Oct. 20,
1818. vSbe was born in tbe state of New York, Oct. 23, 1820,
and died Oct. 16, 1880. He went into the army of the U. S. as
captain of comp'y H, 10th reg. Ills. vol. infantry, and was killed
at Island No. 10, March 12, 1862. Their children are,

YIII. Deborah Axx Carr (2291) lK)rn in Brownsville, Pa., in
1814, married Dr. Eli Teagarden, of Mansfield, Ohio. They
went to California man}' 3"ears ago and died there.
VIII. Mary Jane Carr (2292) born in Brownsville, Pa., mar-
ried Dr. Edward Holeman. They settled in Equalit}', Ills.,
where she died Sept. 25, 1817. They had one daughter,

VIII. Hax.v ah Carr (22^3) born near Damascus, Ohio, married
George Hollabaugh, of Manslield, Ohio.
VIII. Dr. Caleb C. Carr (2294) born near Damascvis, Ohio.
He studied medicine and went to Illinois. He married May
17, 1846, and died in Shawneetown, Ills., about 1818, leaving
one daughter w^ho was born Ma}" 17, 1817.
VHI. Louisa Carr (2295) born in Mt. Holly, N. J., married
C. C. Keech, of Sandusky, Ohio. She has been dead a number
of years. They had several children.
VIII. Isaac Carr (229(5) l)orn in Damascus, Ohio, Nov. 23,
1816, married Sophia Lynn, Oct. 31, 1844. They moved to Kosciusko
Co., Ind., in 1851, where he l)()ijght and improved a
farm, and where he lived until his death at Etna Green, Oct.
29, 1865. Their chihlren are,
