VI. Jonathan Carr (761) l)orn in Newport, R. I., Oct. 28,
1761. He and his brother shipped for India in 1783, and returned
in 1798. He married Sah nie Seavej" and settled in St.
Albans, Me. Their children Avere,

VI. George \V. Carr (762) born in Newport, IC. J.. Nov. 16,
17(52. He Avent on a voyage to India with his brother Jonathan
in 1783. While there he mai ried Mahala Dunbar, April
2, 1798, and returned to this country the same year. She was
born in India, June 16, 17(i6. On their return they stopped at
Island No. 10, South Carolina, and the next year settled in
Keadfield, Me. He died in New Hampshire, in 1828, supposd
to have been killed for the mone>' he had with him at the time.

1875. He died in Pittslield, in 1850. They had.

VI. Joseph Cark (764) born in Shapleigh, Me., about 1781.
He went to India and was never heard of afterwards.

born in Salisbury, Mass., Dec, 14, 1774, married Sarah Chase,
in ISOO. She was born Jan. 21, 1780. Their children were,
