I- ' Ephraim Humphrey was born in Rehoboth, Mass., in Aug., 1765. He married
in Jan., 1784, Margaret Allen, of Rehoboth,* Mass. In youth he is said to have followed the sea.
He, with his family, settled in Danville, Vt. He died at Barnston, C. E., in Aug., 1840, tc. 75 yrs.

maker; a good mechanic, and an upright Christian citizen. They resided in St.
Johnsbur)- till 1834, when they removed to and settled in Delaware, Canada West.
She d. 27 Sept., 1856, x. 64 yrs. Children:
