(dau. of Cyrus and Martha Wilson) Hawlcy, born 5 Dec, 1839, in Louisville, Ky. Her father
was from Connecticut.
They resided the first two years after their marriage in Goderich, Canada, where Mr. Humphreys
engaged in school-teaching. The next eleven years were spent in Muscatine, Iowa; removed
to Mason City, Iowa, where the family were residing in 18^3.
