13, 1667, in Northampton, died 1726, in Lebanon, <strong>Conn</strong>., son<br />

<strong>of</strong> Joseph and Hannah (Haynes)<br />

iii. Thomas, b. Sept. 13, 1796, in Northampton ; d. young.<br />

. iv. Hannah, b. May 12, 1699, in Lebanon ; m. Nov. 6,<br />

1718, Benoni <strong>Clark</strong>, born Feb. 1, 1693-4, son <strong>of</strong><br />

Capt. William and Hannah (Strong) <strong>Clark</strong>.<br />

V. Mary, b. Feb. 14, 1701, in Lebanon.<br />

vi. Thomas, b. Pec. 13, 1705, in Lebanon ; m. 1st, ;<br />

m. 2d, Dec. 28, 1732, Hannah (Rose) Norton, widow<br />

<strong>of</strong> Thomas Norton. Thomas Norton was born 1660,<br />

married Hannah Rose June 7, 1700, and died May 2,<br />

1729. The last five dates are from <strong>Farmington</strong> Church<br />

and Town Records, from which last source we learn<br />

that Sarali, <strong>the</strong> youngest child <strong>of</strong> Thomas and Hannah<br />

Root, was born June 5, 1733, r.t which date Hannah<br />

must have been at least fifty years old. Still I know<br />

<strong>of</strong> no o<strong>the</strong>r Hannah, widow <strong>of</strong> Thomas Norton, for<br />

Thomas Root to have married.<br />

Root," probably <strong>the</strong> same, died Jan. 23, 1762.<br />

vii. Eleazer, b. 1706 in Lebanon; d. Aug. 11, 1706.<br />

viii. Martha, b. Feb. 11, 1708.<br />

ix. Experience, b. Feb. 10, 1711 or Jan. 10, according to<br />

Morgan's Early Lebanon.<br />

This account <strong>of</strong> Sarah*^ <strong>Clark</strong> and her children is compiled<br />

from <strong>the</strong> Root Genealogical Record, 108 and 115, and Dwighfs<br />

Strong Genealogy, 1473, except as o<strong>the</strong>rwise indicated.<br />
