Michael Engelhart Archaeologist – Archaeologist- Bachelor of Arts in<br />

Anthropology from North Dakota State University, 2007.<br />

Diploma with Honors, Korean, Defense Language Institute,<br />

2000. Graduate credits in Anthropology from the University of<br />

Wyoming, 2007-Present. Three years' experience as an<br />

Archaeological Technician for the Black Hills National Forest,<br />

2007-2009. Two years of experience as an Archaeologist at<br />

the district level for the Black Hills National Forest, 2009-<br />

Present.<br />

Corbin Herman Civil Engineering Technician - Two years of Forest Service<br />

experience at the District and Forest level in transportation<br />

planning, road design, contract preparation and administration,<br />

and environmental analysis. Certified in Roads & Aggregate<br />

Base and Surfacing, Inspector of Timber Sales and Public<br />

Works under the Forest Service National Construction<br />

Certification Program. Fire Fighting - Qualified as a<br />

Firefighter Type 2 and Helicopter Crewmember Trainee.<br />

Construction Foreman/Supervisor - Two years as Custer<br />

County Highway Superintendent, two years as Custer City<br />

Director of Streets, Parks, & Public Buildings, six years as<br />

heavy Equipment Operator for Custer County Highway<br />

Department.<br />

Gail Mayer Civil Engineering Technician – Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor<br />

Recreation from Chadron State College, Chadron, NE, 1992.<br />

Eight years of experience with the National Forest Service in<br />

surveying, GPS, road design, and package layout. Two years<br />

of experience with Federal Highway Administration in road<br />

construction inspection and materials testing. One year<br />

experience with the Wyoming Department of Transportation in<br />

surveying and materials testing.<br />

Dave Pickford Recreation – Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor Recreation from<br />

Eastern Washington University, 1984. Eighteen years of<br />

Forest Service experience as the District level in timber,<br />

firefighting, trails, recreation and wilderness on the Ottawa and<br />

Black Hills National Forests. USFS, NPS and USFWS field<br />

experience in Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, UP<br />

Michigan as well as NH State Parks. Former USAF Survival<br />

Specialist and USAF (civilian) Outdoor Adventure Program<br />

Staff.<br />

Meagan Buehler Lands Specialists – Bachelor of Science, Forestry, minor in<br />

Wildlife & Fisheries Biology, University of Massachusetts-
