What was your motivation to become a <strong>PGA</strong> Professional?<br />
My love of the game and a desire to help others enjoy the game.<br />
What is your specialty in the golf business?<br />
Specifically the business part of golf. Becoming certified in General<br />
Management, Executive Management and Ownership and Leasing<br />
expanded my knowledge in the business part of golf so that I feel I am<br />
one of the true experts in the business of golf.<br />

What was your greatest moment in golf?<br />
Playing golf at Pebble Beach with my father who was my true<br />
motivator for the love of the game.<br />
What or who has had the greatest impact on your career?<br />
Many people have impacted it but the earliest impact was by the Head<br />
Professional at Hillcrest Country Club William "Bunny" Richards where I<br />
worked in high school.<br />
Besides golf, what else do you enjoy?<br />
Traveling with my wife Amy and my son Rayce.
If you could play any golf course in the world, which one would<br />
it be and who would complete your foursome?<br />
Augusta National Golf Club, Bobby Jones, Francis Ouimet and my<br />
father Robert.<br />
If you could give lessons to anyone in the world who would it<br />
be and what advice would you give?<br />
VJ Singh - After watching him at the <strong>PGA</strong> Championship in 2009 at<br />
Hazeltine there is no doubt in my mind that I could help him with his<br />
putting issues.<br />
What is your favorite golf instruction tip?<br />
To get a student who has trouble putting to putt with their eyes closed<br />
after setting up. This allows them to feel what is happening in their<br />
stroke without the distraction of watching the stroke.
