The SAME Small Business Committee l is committed to keeping SAME
Members informed with the most up–to–date information from the
world of small business. The Committee regularly communicates updates
to help you stay ahead of the latest trends and take advantage of
current developments in growth and partnerships. Our long term goal
with our Small Business Committee, is to work hard to enhance relationships
to achieve the mission at hand, and provide for greater partnering
within our Post. And, on another note, if you would like to be our Small
Business Spotlight, during one of our monthly meetings, please contact
either Virginia McCallister at virginia@ihamail.com or Nicole Schroder at

The Academy of Fellows, organized in 1995,
brings together all Fellows to further SAME’s
missions and goals, and to take a lead role in
support of the SAME mentoring programs.
As a Fellow, members are expected to be
actively involved in providing support, assistance
and guidance to future engineers.
The Academy now numbers more than 600
Fellows.
It is with excitement and confidence that I will be handing over the Editor Quill to Lauren Balsley, of Sky
Blue Builders.
It has been a great pleasure serving as the Pikes Peak Post Editor for the past four years. I have enjoyed
capturing SAME announcements, the military installation news, your successes, new hires, and announcements
in a single tool to share with the Post’s membership.
I encourage you to support Lauren with information submissions as she will add a new dimension to
our newsletter.
We look forward to hearing from you!
A Note From the Editor....
Congratulations to Cindy Lincicome in becoming the new President of the SAME Pikes Peak Board of
Directors! I am pleased and excited to take over as Newsletter Editor on behalf of Cindy Lincicome and
look forward to providing informative and newsworthy material to the SAME Pikes Peak Newsletter. As
Chief Marketing Officer for Sky Blue Builders, I understand the importance and value in the freedom of
press and am excited to be a contributor to this newsletter. Marketing is a key component to the growth
and success of any business; whether it’s an emerging business, a large corporation or whether it’s a
firm providing specialty services. By utilizing this newsletter as a means of communication you are connecting
to a diverse and unique marketing base and informing individuals of pertinent and impactful
events. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to contribute articles, press releases or advertisements
for community/social events to the Pikes Peak Newsletter. I look forward to issuing future Pikes
