EXPIRIENCE<br />

With more than 35 years experience in Education and Agricultural<br />

Fundamental and Applied Research, expert in Applied Plant Protection, including<br />

nematodes’ biological control, wide expertise in Advanced Laboratory Techniques,<br />

organizing several training and supervising multidisciplinary research in plant<br />

protection, applying concepts of IPM and Biological control, professor Dr MM<br />

BCHIR is leader and scientific collaborator on different research development<br />

projects and member of plant protection societies, has represented Tunisia in several<br />

scientific and technical EPPO expert panels until 2001.<br />

Professor Dr MM BCHIR received in 2000 OADA price of Sciences creativity in<br />

pest and diseases control and in 2001 the Merit Tunisian Medal of Education and<br />

Sciences. Since 1995 Professor Dr MM BCHIR is member of Agriculture French<br />

Academy.<br />

SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS AND ACTIVITIES


Professor Dr MM BCHIR published between 1970 and 1999 more than one<br />

hundred scientific papers and between 2000 and 2009more than twenty papers in<br />

the different field of plant protection, including patents of two biological control<br />

processes. In addition, Professor Dr MM BCHIR supervised three Master degrees<br />

and five PHD in Tunisia and <strong>Oman</strong> between 2000 and 2009.<br />
