he Silver Lake Sand dunes<br />
are a natural phenomenon<br />
nestled between Silver Lake and<br />
Lake Michigan. Sand, sun, and fun<br />
attract more than a million visitors each year. The dunes are divided<br />
into three sections. The northern area is reserved for off-road<br />
vehicles for testing your sand driving skills. Whether you rent or<br />
take your own vehicle, you will want to experience this adventure.<br />
The center region of the dunes is reserved for hiking, walking, or<br />
simply enjoying the beaches of Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. The<br />
southern area is home to Mac Woods Dune Rides. Mac Woods<br />
has operated for more than 80 years, allowing visitors to enjoy a<br />
40 minute, 7 mile tour of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Whatever<br />
option you choose for conquering the dunes, you are in for an<br />
unforgettable experience of fun!<br />
