vegetables in Michigan. Asparagus<br />
is “King of Spring” around here, and<br />
has earned us the title of “Asparagus<br />
Capital of the World”. The National<br />
Asparagus Festival is offered the second<br />
weekend in June, and includes a<br />
parade, food show, family activities,<br />
entertainment, and much, much<br />
more. As the season progresses,<br />
visitors can also find sweet cherries,<br />
tart cherries, strawberries, raspberries, apples,<br />
peaches, and any vegetable you can imagine at any of the numerous<br />
farm markets that abound in this region.
