Applications
The MiniPIXIE GS camera is suitable for a wide range of industrial
and research applications:
• Industrial applications in vision systems where a compact, robust
camera with a high resulution is needed
• The MiniPIXIE GS can be used in 1D or 2D code recognition, OCR/
OCV, packaging and printing quality inspection, and etc.
• The MiniPIXIE GS is able to work in 32bit/64bit Windows 7/Vista/
XP or Linux. Free SDK and examples for various programming
tools such as VC, VB, BCB and Delphi are available in the corresponding
software package; interfaces compatible with DirectX
and 3rd-party software as HACLON and LabView are also available.

Unique features
Despite its ultra-compact size, the MiniPIXIE GS combines an unique

MiniPIXIE GS with a global shutter camera is available in the following versions:
• MPX0361UM: 0.36MPixel mono (752 x 480), 60fps, USB2.0 data interface
• MPX0361UC: 0.36MPixel color (752 x 480), 60fps, USB2.0 data interface
MiniPIXIE cameras with rolling shutter are available in these versions
• MPX1351UM: 1.3MPixel mono (1280 x 1024), 15fps, USB2.0 data interface
• MPX1351UC: 1.3MPixel color (1280 x 1024), 15fps, USB2.0 data interface
• MPX2051UC: 2MPixel color (1600 x 1200), 10fps, USB2.0 data interface
• MPX3151UC: 3MPixel color (2048 x 1536), 6fps, USB2.0 data interface

Accessories
MiniPXIE cameras are available in 3 different configurations:
• Camera, single packed (incl. CD with Viewer software and USB cable)
- ideal for Microscopic or Enddoscopic applications
• Camera, bulk packed (25 units/box), w/o CD and cables
- ideal for system integrators
• Camera modules, bulk packed (25 units/box), sensor- and interface pcb
- ideal for integration into 3rd party products or -subsystems
Other configurations are available on request (i.e. pre-installed lens)
Software packages
All MiniPIXIE include the information for a range of downloadable software packages
from the AOS webpage:
• Camera drivers: for MS Windows XP / VISTA / Win7 (32/64bit)
• SW Interface: compatible with DirectX and softwares like HALCON and LabView
• Viewer Software: ready-to-use viewer software for displaying a ‘live’-image, controlling
all camera parameters such as gain, shutter, image resolution etc. plus the
possibilty to make single frame images (‘snapshots’) in BMP-format
• SDK: Software Developer Kit for integration into your vision application
