I would greatly encourage you to address our peers in deterministic computational
mechanics by submitting an abstract to the M.I.T. conference. This would certainly help
to diseminate our ideas to our peers in engineering analysis and design and hence to
widen our field. Please note that there is also an extensive scholarship program which
enables capable young researchers to participate as well.
Please send your abstract to Professor Bathe at your convenience but not later than
September 30, 2003.
