Experience in the practice of international Law<br />

1992-97 Member of the Italian Delegation to the IAEA Standing Comm<strong>it</strong>tee on Liabil<strong>it</strong>y for Nuclear Damage.<br />

1996 During the Italian Chairmanship of the European Union, took part, as expert for the Italian Ministry for<br />

Foreign Affairs, in the negotiations relating to the participation of the European Union, and <strong>it</strong>s Member<br />

States, in the Korean Energy Development Organization (KEDO).<br />

1997 Chairman of the Drafting Comm<strong>it</strong>tee of the Diplomatic Conference to adopt a Protocol to Amend the<br />

Vienna Convention on Civil Liabil<strong>it</strong>y for Nuclear Damage and to adopt a Convention on Supplementary<br />

Funding, convened by the IAEA (Vienna, 8-12 September 1997).<br />
