Several group-discussion sessions allowed to finalize the following list of criteria (see<br />
detailed list in app<strong>en</strong>dix 5.3.):<br />
1. Policy effici<strong>en</strong>cy in improving GPs’ attraction, recruitm<strong>en</strong>t and ret<strong>en</strong>tion,<br />
2. Cost-b<strong>en</strong>efit of the policy from a societal point of view,<br />
3. Acceptance by the other health professionals,<br />
4. Accessibility of care delivered by a GP from a geographical and financial<br />
point of view as well as the pati<strong>en</strong>t’s freedom of choice of a GP.<br />
6.3.5 Developm<strong>en</strong>t of the scoring and the ranking<br />
Two indicators describe the rating of the policies i.e., a rank and a score.<br />
The rank varies betwe<strong>en</strong> 1 and 5: it is equal to 1 if the stakeholder chooses it as his/her<br />
first choice policy, 2 for his/her 2 nd choice, 3 for his/her 3 rd choice, 4 if a policy was not<br />
cited and 5 if it was discarded. The lower the value of the rank, the better the policy.<br />
The score repres<strong>en</strong>ts the prioritization of the policies in relation with the 4 criteria bb (a<br />
