TRINITY STRONGHOLD
A Trinity, or "tri-unity" of multiple persons, is often emphasized by
teachers. One of the most powerful texts used to support this idea is found
at Genesis/Bereshith 3:22.
The question is: who's the "US"?
Yahuah is speaking to His malakim (angels).
Genesis/Bereshith 3:22 “And Yahuah Elohim said, ‘See, the man has
become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his
hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...’”
QUESTION: “Can anybody give us more information about the panel of “gods” at
the time when the statement ‘… now they will become like us …’ was made?”
ANSWER: Yes, the Mind of Yahusha can answer this for us.
The “panel” of elohim present at this statement, “…become like one of us …”, is
easily explained with the Ockham’s Razor approach.
We know with certainty that Yahuah is one, and that the “stars” sang together as
He created. Those “stars” were the immortal beings called malakim, or in the
Greek, “angels” (both terms mean messengers). These are the Watchers (elohim,
mighty ones) that were with Yahuah at all times during creation, and He was
speaking to them. The fact they are IMMORTAL (deathless), “like” Yahuah, is the
central aspect, and an outside idea is inserted making it seem to say that Yahuah
is somehow a multiple personality, or compound Entity within Himself.
Adam and Chuah were suddenly FALLEN, and MORTAL, making them NOT
LIKE Yahuah and the malakim since they were now prone to die. If they were to
remain in the garden and eat from the Tree of Life, it would have sustained them
in their fallen state. This explanation may not be what the seminaries would like
as an answer to their “proof-text” for the trinity teaching, but it’s the simplest
answer, making it the correct one.

The prepositional connective that follows “like one of us” is a LAMED. The
LAMED inserts the idea of “moving toward” comprehension, not that they instantly
possessed all knowledge of good and evil. This added to the complexity of the
catastrophe. To comprehend “good and evil” is the similarity between Yahuah
and the malakim, and now Adam and Chuah were “like” them. Using
Genesis/Bereshith 3:22 as a foundation to support a "trinitarian" view of our
Creator further pollutes our worship and knowledge of Him, since the idea of
trinities originates in Pagan worship from Babel: Nimrod, Semiramis, and
Tammuz. The Scriptures do not teach such a doctrine, so we need to be
discerning of those who turn Yahuah's Word into "wormwood" by making His
Words seem to say things that are not there. - brother Lew
